Trio of images. Concept narrative: Soaring beyond the Campus Learning Center, a heritage building (1812), students immerse themselves in timeless nature, from County Wexford’s Blackstairs Mountains to its 171 miles of coast, along three seas. Discussion: Use pair of doors as asset to visually articulate the tripartite concept narrative. Perhaps use material from Wexford: Savannah’s Irish Pub to tie transom areas to overall Wexford Hub aesthetic. Images: L = Blackstairs Mountains / C = Learning Center entrance / R = Saltee Islands coast

Page 2 • The Bar — A Tribute to Wexford: Savannah’s Irish Pub

Two images bookend a glass feature from the pub (in City Market, Savannah). Concept narrative: Celebrating the university’s only-just-begun partnership with the Swanson and Strickland families, creators of Wexford: Savannah’s Irish Pub, the bar gestures to the Irish pub as a cultural nexus, where strangers connect, ideas brew, and innovation percolates. This element of the Wexford Hub affirms that collaboration is essential to the human and academic enterprises. As the magic of pubs occurs indoors, the pair of images capture interior views of Georgia Southern’s iconic Learning Center.

Eight images (or six, if space disallows eight), that direct attention to the Wexford Hub’s keynote panel. Conceptual narrative: Highlighting students, Georgia Southern’s reason for being, a broad-based set of images transports the visitor from the town of Statesboro to the county of Wexford. Employers and graduate programs seek candidates who can demonstrate international experience (learning, research, internships). The Wexford Campus and its associated professional networks signal, unequivocally, our institution’s “walk-the-walk” resolution to equip undergraduate and graduate Eagles with the global competitive advantage.
